Some tasks have restrictions on who can perform them. In particular, subtitles cannot be reviewed by the user who has transcribed or translated them, and they must be approved by a language coordinator for the language they are in.
If a task requires special permissions, you will see the following label next to it:
If all the tasks you see display this label, you may need to filter out the available tasks:
- Select 'any project' to search for tasks across TEDTalks, TEDxTalks, and TED-Ed projects (the default selection is limited to TEDTalks only).
- Select the desired type of task: 'Transcribe', 'Translate', or 'Review'.
