Hi Claude,
Thanks for bringing these questions forward, and it's great to hear the email notification issue for Amara messages has been resolved!
It would certainly be helpful to have a feature allowing users to view the full content of sent messages, rather than just the subject. It makes tracking conversations much easier and ensures clear communication.
The character limit issue also sounds concerning—101 characters is unusually restrictive, especially if it’s shorter than a tweet! This limitation could definitely disrupt communication for users who need to convey more complex messages. Hopefully, the team can look into these points and make improvements, especially given the importance of reliable messaging within Amara for smooth collaborations.
Thank you for your insights, and fingers crossed for a quick resolution!
Claude Almansi
Best,

Update: my correspondent now wrote me that the length limit warning she got when she tried to reply via Amara was 101 characters: shorter than a tweet, which is rather odd. And it might be that one or more Amara messages I received / sent over the week end didn't get through - but as I don't have the e-mail of that correspondent, I can't verify that.
