API: how to upload a caption (in .srt format)

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to it, so I derived a ticket from it, of which you should get a notification (ticket #73811)
Tickets go to the tech staff: they'll be able to reply to you.

I'm following this document

I successfully managed to download a subtitle in .rst format through the API, now I'd like to upload the localized .srt file but I don't really understand how.
The response I get is "unhashable type", no matter what I try to send. I even tried to download the subtitle in json format, and then reupload it.
Is there a piece of code somewhere showing how to use this feature?
