Online Translation Management: Update and Delete Translations

I started a translation on the site but decided to finish it elsewhere. Even though I created an SRT file, I can't update my translations on the site. If I'm the only contributor, can I delete a translation I started? If not, how do I refresh an existing translation using my upload? basket random

Thank you for your questions, Tasha.

  1. Did you  include what you had already translated on the site in your "elsewhere" translation? If so, you should be able to upload your "elsewhere" translation on the site. This will leave your first attempt on the site as a past revision: that should be OK.

  2. Did you only continue "elsewhere" what you had already translated on the site? In this case, you should download what you translated on the site, in the same subtitle format you used for your "elsewhere translation", then make the 2 files into a single file, which you can upload on the site. Again, this will leave your first attempt on the site as a past revision: that should be OK.
